Media & Community Advisory: Holiday Shopping Kicks Off at Outlets of Des Moines

What: Holiday shopping kicks off on Thanksgiving night at Outlets of Des Moines following with Black Friday and welcoming Santa to the center.

When: Stores open at 6:00 pm, Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, and will remain open until midnight. All stores will be open on Black Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Weekend hours are Saturday 9 am – 9pm and Sunday 11 am – 6 pm.

Highlights:

BLACK FRIDAY SURPRISE SWAG GIVEAWAY, Nov. 24 at 8:00 am
Outlets of Des Moines will be giving away surprise swag bags starting at 8 am to the first 250 patrons (in line) 18+. Bags will contain a variety of Outlets of Des Moines swag, coupons, gift cards, merchandise, and other prizes. Store hours 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. Plus, enter for a chance to win a $1,000 prize package of gift certificates on Black Friday by visiting the Karl Chevrolet space in suite 810
at the center.

Santa’s Arrival, Nov. 24 at 9:00 am
Welcome Santa to Outlets of Des Moines! Children 12 and under are invited to Santa’s Workshop for complimentary milk & cookies. The first 50 children in line will receive a special gift from Santa. Santa's Workshop is located in Suite 625, near Nike Factory Outlet.
