Outlets of Des Moines to Host Period Supplies Drive with Give Grace, Give Hope

ALTOONA, IOWA (March 2021) – Outlets of Des Moines (OutletsofDesMoines.com) is hosting a Period Supplies Drive with Give Grace, Give Hope. The drive is being held now through Monday, March 22, 2021. Donations of pads and tampons can be dropped off at LOFT Outlet, kate spade new york, or Vera Bradley Factory Store. Give Grace, Give Hope will distribute the supplies to local schools and nonprofits. Monetary donations can also be made at GiveGraceGiveHope.org.

“Girls in our community are missing school and work because they can't afford menstrual products,” says Melissa Knutson of Give Grace, Give Hope. “These donations can mean the difference between a life in leadership, or a life in poverty. We encourage Outlets of Des Moines shoppers to join us in giving others a hand up,” she adds.

Give Grace, Give Hope seeks to eliminate the gap between need and access of menstrual product for low income and homeless individuals in central Iowa. The organization supplies pads and tampons to schools, homeless shelters, women’s resource centers and other human service organizations.
