Outlets of Des Moines to hold several events to celebrate Altoona 150

Altoona, Iowa (July 25, 2018) - Outlets of Des Moines, an open-air lifestyle destination and the region’s first outlet center, will host several events to help celebrate Altoona’s 150th birthday, the largest community celebration in Altoona history. The Altoona 150 birthday celebration is presented by the Altoona Area Historical Society and will recognize Altoona’s past, present, and future.

Fun for the entire family, Altoona 150 events at Outlets of Des Moines include live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, family movie night and the Altoona 150 5K. Events will kick off Thursday, June 26 and run through Saturday, July 28.
